need a fast answer to a guage lighting quesiton

i know the number for the inst. panel lights are 194...but are they 12 volt or 5v or 6v? cause i know there is a voltage reg. in there cause i got blue 194 bulbs and there 12v bulbs....will they work?

12V is the correct bulb.

Just a follow up on this, how many bulbs are needed for a white-faced cluster with tachometer if i were to swap out all the bulbs?

You're in for a let down if all you bought were the tinted bulbs. I did that and the tint wore off in a matter of weeks. Right back to the stock color and stock brightness in a month.

damn lol.
well ive found this crap thats blue and kinda transparent and you just slide it over a reg. type bulb...that would work wouldnt it?
and cant you pick up LEDs at radioshack or something?
