That might increase mileage, if you stay off the go pedal.
That might be a hair low, but not too bad. On the window sticker there is an acceptable range, 30 - 42 for 100% highway. So if you do some city type driving it would be reasonable to assume 27 - 30.
The next couple times you fill up try this...
- fill up till it shuts itself off
- drive around for a while
- fill up till it shuts itself off
use this for your calculations. it would be best to go to the same pump at the same station for consistancy. after you do this then you can go back to your normal way. this is just to get a more accurate reading.
My car seems to be drinking more gas then usual?
