has any one ever weighed their car with them in it in stock form?

2600 - 2700 sounds about right
it varies with options

my 2000 Chrysler Neon LX...weighs 2680..weighed it on a truck scale at work...my 01 LE weighs 2900 with lots of aftermarket stuff..ie bodykit and all my stereo stuff

Should be somewhere between 2600 and 2700 depending on options. A bone stock 05 sxt is claimed to weigh in at 2626, with all fluids and options (power windows and locks, wing, alum wheels etc). I weighed mine recently (not quite stock

) and it's at 2540 with a full tank of gas. Weight reduction is your friend

2567lbs for the base model neon (SE). the sxt weighs more depending on options.

Mine's 2450 with just the back seats, trunk carpet, and stereo removed, but with the addition of the turbo system.

Mine's a base model though. No A/C, no dash speakers, etc. I might have also been wearing lighter wheels/tires.

Only time I ever weighed mine she came in at 2970 lbs. That was with me in the car, my tools and what not, but it was also weighed in the middle of winter and there was tonnes of ice build up on the undercarriage as per the norm. Never had time to scale her up in the summer.
