Maddog sts and warrenty?

what part of my powertrain warrenty would it viod if any? and if somthing did go wrong could i switch back to my stock and bring it in?

Yeah, you could switch back. However, I don't believe a STS will directly cause the warranty to be voided.

Just because you have the shifter doesn't mean anything. The shift selectors still more the same amount, just the amount of throw is reduced.

But I understand your concern. Keep the stocker and put the stocker back in just in case.

Yeah just becuase i dont want anything hassle wise from the dealer more then they would do already and my shifter has a notchy feel the maddog 80-4 (inch drop 80% redux) did i not a just something thanks for you're quick responce too

I had a chopped shifter with Booger bushings in my car when my transmission ate itself. I got a free transmission and clutch with no hassle over the shifter. It's a tough call though because I would guess they could give you some crap about it.

Technically you can't exert as much pressure on the shift mechanism because you have less leverage. So it should be less stressful on the trans. (If everything is adjusted correctly and there isn't too much you can screw up there, at least as far as anymore damage that could be done with the factory unit.) Once you get the feel for it I would think it would make life easier as far as normal driving goes. Agressive driving is an other story. But who drives their car like that? :shock:
