I have an 01 so then this would mean that the motor in my car is from a 2003+ because I have a cat on the manifold. Son of a bitch. Then my mileage isn't correct on the original cluster so now I have no clue what the real mileage of the motor is. Guess I'll have to carfax it sometime. I know it was in an accident so evidently the motor had to be replaced, too. Is there any identifier on the motor that would tell me what year it's from other than the cat?

If you have an 01, i severely doubt you have a 03+ motor. They changed the Engine controls starting in the 2003 model year and it would take alot of effort to do the swap. The swap of the exhaust system would be more likely.
Are you sure you have 2. The Cat on the Neon should be in the downpipe.

Yeah, I'm sure it's 2. There's one on the manifold and one downstream. I'm 100% sure of this cuz I thought it looked strange when I first got the car. I never saw a car with one cast into the manifold. Maybe the exhaust was swapped?
