alternator question

i have read where the alt from a pt cruiser is a direct replacement for the sxt and increases the output, though they vary based on year and model of the pt. i have also read where the 05 version of the srt4 had an upgraded alt that was somewhere near 140 or 160. anyone have any info? going to be pulling some power soon and the big 3 are part of the process.

I honestly don't know if the SRT alternator will work, but the PT 100amp and the PT 120amp Non-Turbo alternators will work. I used the 2002 Alternator in my car with no issues at all...

As far as the SRT goes... But what the mounting differences are I don't know, connections can be modified. The output wiring would need upgraded anyway I doubt that the stock Neon wire/fusible link would handle the extra amperage. If anyone has some pics of each to compare....
