I was refering to the 2002 for all those, sorry for confusion.
I would never buy a salvaged anything unless it was for parts only.

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you're going when you hit the wall, and torque is how far you drag the wall with you.

Im with the rest of these guys, I would go for the MTX, why buy a car for $ x,xxx amount of money thats ATX just to get a car only to sell it in the future for a car thats MTX, plus MTX cars appear to be a lil bit better on gas. Always look for a clean title, It could save you headaches in the future.
Sorry but Im gonna be blunt here but unless you have a severe learning disability, Physically disabled or just plain dont have a left foot, lol you can teach yourself to drive a manual transmission car.

Its better to get a neon thats a stick now and learn rather than getting an Srt-4 and tryin to learn in the future.
Good luck

Cars nowadays are EASY to shift. I learned on an POS '84 Chevette which was my first car (I used to tell everyone I drive a vette). You practically had to stomp the pedal and yank it into gear. I drove my brother's 05 SE-R when he got it and you barely have to push the pedal down at all and can shift with a finger!
But I would learn the mechanics of shifting on a Neon before jumping into an SRT-4 or some other more expensive car. Hell learn on cheap used import, then you won't feel so bad when you blow the clutch or transmission!

Just make sure you take the dead body out of the trunk before you take it to the drag strip.
You don't want any extra "dead weight" slowing you down!

lol an SRT-4 for 4500 and not 14500? or is it a 2gn with an SRT swap for 4500? cuz besides that one on ebay for like $7k(that was removed for violation) I havent seen an srt go under $10k yet unless it was wrecked. So I take it you are taking our advice and learn stick on your own.
No wonder the price is so lowOverdrive418 wrote:Just make sure you take the dead body out of the trunk

So guys you were right, first it was wrecked, then the title was lost, after that they told me it was used for runaway car. And also had some bullet holes inside and the transmission needs work(can't shift to R), so I didn't buy it mostly because of the title. If the title is lost you have to apply for some waiver and wait for about an year to get a title replacement or something till then you have to drive the car without plates, but with some driving pass for which you have to pay each month about $100.
GUYS GUYS.. what do u think of this one?
I just can't find a Neon under 4500
