That could even turn out to be a good thing if the engine's intact.

here is her reply, does this sound fake to you guys to me it does lol
First of all I want to thank you for your interest for my car. I sell it at this price $2,830.00USD because i just finished the divorce with my husband. When the divorce has finished i own this car. Now as a women i don't need it. This car is in excellent working conditions, no scratches, flaws or any kind of damage, slightly used in 100% working and looking conditions and comes with a clear title, 3 months transferable warranty.
From the beginning you have to know that for the payment I request only secure pay, I prefer the payment to be done using eBay services.
We will use a safe payment method because I am affiliated at eBay and I have a purchase protection account for $20.000. The final price that I want for this car is $2,830.00 USD including shipping and handling.
If you are interested in buying it please provide me your full name and address so I can initiate the deal through eBay.
Regards,
Susan Woods

something is sooooo wrong with this whole transaction, don't pay anything dude, you will be robbed........
why would she ask for 2830 specifically? why not a rounded number like 4000, 5000? this is either a joke, or a scam, or both....
maybe the car is stolen or something. who knows?
if you could see it in person, and make sure everything is ok, then yeah, i'll buy it. other than that, don't even think about it...........

I would do the transaction at her bank, and that is with her driving the car there, with a ride home. It could be the old screw my X out of his beloved SRT-4, or it could be an attempt to screw you. If she won't do the transaction that way, or you are not on the same continent, I would pass. At a bank they can notorize everything right there. I have done this in the past, makes for a very smooth process. They know the funds are good and you can touch/see what your buying...

Be very careful. I would love to see this work out for you, but follow occasional demons's advice.
Good luck

Go see it. If you can't see it, don't pay anyone anything. If it's at that price, it's well worth a plane ticket to wherever it is.

i'm 110% sure it's a scam. if you want to be sure, send her an email saying you will meet up with her to check out the car. i bet she's gonna give u some bs of how she's in another country or something. if the deal is legit, then congrats!

Its a scam dude. By the looks of it you don't live very far from this guy, so what you need to do is say you'd like to come by to see it and can pay cash at hand. I'll bet you any money you will not get a responce back, or you will get an excuse that says something like "why not just let me ship it to you for free, it would be a lot easier, and for this price, it won't last long"
Sorry to break the news to ya bud, but its a scam. Someone tried to do this using pics of my car a while back, and had almost the same excuse why they are selling the car.
If you can see the car in person, and they agree, then i'll take everything back that i just said.
Jus an FYI, 2005 SRT4's in Canada sell easily for 18-23 grand depending on miles and upgrades
