Hit and Run in the parking lot...

So I'm not very happy right now. My 2001 ACR, which I just purchased, got smacked by another vehicle in a parking lot at my work. I have a few dents in my rear bumper and my left taillight is all jacked up
So, where can I get a new left taillight for a decent price? I don't need a bulb or anything, just the outside lense.
I only have liability, so this is coming straight out of my pocket

Man, that sucks

I hate people who have no respect for other people's cars. It's such a cowardly, shitty thing to have happen. If I wasn't still using my tails, I'd send it to you (but I don't have my SRT rear bumper to go with the 3d tails I have)
As far as replacing the light, you have plenty of options. If you want to go new (factory) the part # for the left (drivers side) is 5288527AM...MSRP $85.35. I think there is some used ones for sale here somewhere. And you can always go aftermarket as well.
No matter how you go, you have to replace the lamp. You can't get just the lens.
Sorry to hear about your hit and run. Good luck fixing her man

There should be an uninsured motorist or similar type clause in your insurance contract.
I only had liability when my car got hit in the parking lot and I only had to pay the $500 deductible, it was a hit and run situation too.
I just reread, and since yours is such minimal damage, the deductible would probably be more than the cost of damages, unless you wanted the bump redone.

Tails lights are sooo easy to come by. I bet you could get one for $25 shipped.
Sorry about that happened. I would be uber pissed if that happened to me at my job.

Yes, yes, I know, everyone wants pics... But it's been way to windy and freakin cold to get some.
I think I just might pick up some used taillights from someone in the forum...
So now I'm wondering if I should suck it up and get some decent collision coverage with a $100-250 (USD) deductible. I only have liability and the state of KY does not allow you to get uninsured motorist coverage (which fully covers hit-and-runs)

THIS is why I park away from other people, as much as possible.
Nowadays, everybody tries to "drive" their cars while yapping on their cell phones or trying to operate their PDA's. (While backing up in parking lots too, no doubt.)
So it's no wonder that accidents like this happen all the time.
