hahaha. im so glad you non-magnums can break 16

... even 3k rpm clutch drops, an intake, throttle body, and 26psi (hot) tires only got me a 16.28@84.92mph (then again, island dragway in NJ is known for being a shitty track)
oh yeah, good luck

Ok well.....95 degrees is NO fun to race in. Car ran like shit, the traction....i never knew you could have TOO good of traction. Tires were practically melting to the compound on the ground. I couldnt burn out. They would grip and bog me down like no other.
My best time was 16.8. worst was 17.11 (which was up against a cammed out V8) , beat the guy buy .1 hahahahhaha.
Anyway it was fun. Venomm from SRT forums and MNneons.org was there. Stage 2 Electric blue. He was running 13.70's and low 14's on radials. Shows how shitty of a day it was.

Lemme run in the late summer or spring and I'll be happy. Also, nothing like some night time runs. 95 degrees would be a nightmare!!!

well i'm just as bad as u...No fun going to th track in "our" kind of summer weather, even at night. Hell friday morning at 4:00am it was 85 degrees outside and the humidity was around 87%! Definately not a great time to get a best time for your car. When my car was bone stock on bald tires (steele belts were showing), this past november, i ran it and my best was a 17.2. Which for a stock 03 ATX i mean it really doesn't get much better. Now with better tires, intake, exhaust, and hopefully by november when i run again i'll have some weight redux, header, UPD, and TB, i should break into the high 16's if i'm not mistaken.
You guys think a 16.5 is possible with what i said?

my best time is actually a 16.3, so i think you should be able to get it maybe at the end of the season when it gets cooler, i put my front tires around 26psi and launch around 3500k~3800k rpms got to get them rpms up
