nitrous and battery
i have a few things that i would like to do to my car in the next few months and two if those include nitrous and relocated the battery to the trunk. i was just wondering if i would get flagged at the race track or by the police(dc cops or transit police for the tunnels) for having both in the trunk.
yea i know i needed the battery box with the vent tube's, i did not even think of the kill switchWenuden wrote:if you're going to put it on the track, you're going to need an easily accessible kill switch mounted to the rear of the car. I don't think that having both will prevent you from running on the track, although you'll need a battery box.
ot: how was court?
bullshit. The cops own testimony proved me not guilty, I pointed it out to the judge, and he still found me guilty. Cost me $700 and 3 points. But I should get $500 of it back when they do the abusive driver fee refunds.
Personally, I'd just go with an oddysey lightweight battery and keep it up front. Kill switches bother me on the street, especially working in d.c. Too easy for some fuck to turn the car off while you're sitting at a stop light, and if you remove it when you leave the track, you end up with holes in the bumper.

in July, Virginia enacted new fines on certian moving violations such as speeding, wreckless driving, DUI, among others, in order to raise money to make road improvements and finish transportation projects such as getting metrorail service to Dulles airport. These fees are substantial (mine was $500 for speeding, and I also had to pay a $200 one for an improper lane change last November). The state supreme court recently repealed the fines, something about how the money was planned to be used being against the state constitution I believe. They say they're going to refund what has already been paid
