What a great day

I changed my camshaft, intake manifold and did routine maintenance. I then went to change my headlight bulbs. The driver side went fine. I then moved onto the passenger side. I have big hands so I have no choice but to remove the headlight. I went to undo the bolt and I heard a *crack*. The head snapped clean off the bolt. I now have to drill it out and use an extractor. The best part is I can't get a new bolt until tomorrow. I also broke my torque wrench. What a freakin good day. I am gonna go have a few cold ones.

He broke his headlamp retaining bolt, which could be a royal pain to get out. Not like theres a lot of beef there to drill into.
I would buy 4 new ones. Once those start rusting they're a bitch. I tried wire wheeling mine and painted them, then anti-seized them and they still would rust in place. New ones seem to be doing OK.
Now if that damn headlight wasn't in the way, you could get it from underneath.....

I agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY! At least what broke was an "easier" fix than if you snapped off a head bolt!!
