buy it do all the regular maintenance while the motor is out and replace all the seals, gaskets and any dry rotted hoses maybe even the head gasket wouldnt be a bad idea. Is the motor stock or has it had some mods done to it???

i paid 3k for mine. I would say keep another 1k around in case u need it for something. I've spent about 500 in parts so far and im sure it will be worth it. My donor car has about 48k on it but i'm trying to repalce everything I can afford to just because I know it will me a hell of alot easier with the motor out and I can keep track of it from there. I knew the previous owner and he did do maintenace on it but I also knew about some of the other things the car needed so that has helped me alot.
