For an '03 SXT I've been looking and looking, but all im seeing is about SRT-4, are there any performance upgrades like Turbo for an SXT or something that will make my car go faster? I got the need for speed  but I can't seem to find anything that can help me make my car go faster! :(

just the basics, intake, exhaust, tb, p&p, modern has everything, do a search for a thread called online shops, that helped me out a lot

 Spoken like a true noob

That is a great kit and a great way to go fast. But for what he asked for Modernperformance has everything you need.

It is verry possible to go fast N/A just costs four times more.

You're 17. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I don't mean to be rude, but you're new, so i'm going to spell it out for you.

You have something in your car called a NGC. It stands for next generation computer/controller (whatever you want to call it.) It will recognize that you have mods on your car, and adjust your air to fuel ratio (among other things) to prevent drivability problems. Therefore, you will not gain more than about... say... 5 hp. IF THAT. Unless you do something drastic like a swap or a turbo which both cost THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.

Re-read my first line and please stop asking questions like "how do I go fast" and "how much hp will I gain" because if you're looking to go fast, you bought the wrong car. Use this as your daily driver, and save up for something else.

p.s. you spelled performance wrong...

im 18, i think the same way, i really really want to go fast in my car build up the engine and stuff, but the truth is, just make it look good, and take care of it, cuz when u get a better paying job and all that THEN look at getting into the performance... focus on paying for schooling thats what im doing as well... just a suggestion

yea i added performance parts that just sounded cool like an exhaust and a intake other than its all looks and suspension, which is always fun.

Also spoken like a true noob it must be the day for noob questions and dumb wrong answers from noob's.

why so much about speed and horse power? are going to take it to the track? or race??? if not then why bother.like has been said you are 17,why would you need a car that has turbo and 300 hp??
i am at the point with my car right now where i am into making it fun.and nice to look at.then at a later date when i know i am not getting in over my head i am going to do a 2.4 srt swap.and its not because i have a need for speed, its because i would like to have the experience with doing the swap and tuning a turbo car.plus i have 36k left on my warranty and my 420a is in fine shape as is.i figure paying the car off and getting another daily driver for when i do the swap is the smart thing to do so at that point it will be my toy, rather than the car me and my family needs to start every time.so if i were you i would do some suspension mods and make it fun to drive, everyone talks shit about our cars but they can be very fun to drive with some nice thought out mods/end rant

Prove that it is the computer that limits power, rather than the lower compression ratio.

Well, you have a point since in another new topic around here no one has seemed to have tried to increase the compression on a NGC 03+

Why is it that second gens 00-02 don't have as many problems making power? Why is it that a Honda 1.6L produces 160 hp and a neon is rated at 132? I was always told, "there's no replacement for displacement."

...wait everyone look at his car... OH! IT'S A TURBO! Looks like you didn't choose the N/A route... how much did that cost you? $1,405... oh wait, that's just your sound system...

I think I just proved it.

You proved nothing because the 00-02 neons had 9.8:1 compression.

There is also no replacement for better head and induction designs. If there was more room under the hood you could prolly make more than 132 hp. It also doesn't help that there is a giant intake manifold heater called a radiator.

As for a high compression NGC... http://forum.2gn.org/viewtopic.php?t=29144
