Any ideas what could have been? I know I have to replace 1 mount of the engine and 1 of the tranny. Just changed battery, spark plugs and did oil change.

Weird problems with my 02 Neon - HELP!
My Neon continues giving me problems. Today it did something very strange. I was driving like 35 mph and when I start steping on the gas, the car sounded like if it had a motorcycle inside, I mean horrible and start shaking like it was going to die and then it was ok again. Also when the weird sound was on the rpm went to like 5000 and then droped to normal.

I would take it to a dealer and get them to take it for a drive. It kinda happened to another car i had it sputtered and made a crazy loud noise then went away and drove normal. I never got it fixed but i found out it might have something to do with your fluids need to be flushed, check with the dealer
