So I've been scouring the Vendor section this morning, and can't seem a reputable place to purchase a water pump, timing belt and tensioner. Anyone know of a good place to buy that stuff for a decent price?

well here in halifax we have a place called salvage yards lol.... most junkyards give ya a month warranty on all used parts. also if your looking for new timing belt is only like 23 bucks at our canadian tire. unsure about the tensionor. but ya check your local junkyard. we also have aplace called major discount auto. great for things like that

Yeah, but I'd feel much better getting a new pump and tensioner than one from a junkyard, even if it came with a warranty.
Thanks for the link Frank.

I checked parts dinosaur cause that's were I got the stuff for my 97 Eclipse, but I couldn't find all of that stuff for the Neon. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough. It was also almost 4 years ago I bought the stuff for the Eclipse, and his site has changed quite a bit so maybe I just missed it.

Used
any of those FTL. Anything that requires that much effort to remove isn't worth doing the removal labor twice just to get the parts on. Then possibly fail, scrapping the valves/possibly pistons.
I like my chances better with new parts on those items.
Electrical parts with no moving pieces, on the other hand can last a day, or outlast the car new or used. And if they are used, they obviously lean towards having oulasted their original car.

How decent are you looking for? I'm pretty sure the belt and pump are dirt cheap. Tensioner, I have no idea. Also, my idea of dirt cheap is under $100.

Parts dinosaur has everything you need. These are the parts I got when I did my timing belt
Tensioner:
Litens is the only one I recommend----
http://www.store.partsdinosaur.com/product1781.html
Timing belt:
Gates is one of the best-----

Water pump--------

It's also suggested that you change the cam seal and crank seal while you're in there, but it's not really necessary if it's not leaking. You could also do the oil pump, but they usually last a long time.

TBK10245 - Mopar Timing belt and tensioner pulley kit - $114msrp
4667660AE- Mopar water pump - $112msrp
4667663 - Mopar water pump seal - $5.30msrp
The above is good for those with a mechanical tensioner already wich most 2GN's have....

Don't go used. I personally don't trust the generic brands when it comes to stuff like that. I would get Mopar parts only on those 3 items.
