SAFC2 Install Question (again)

Alright,

I've searched and searched these forums and I'm still not 100% sure what to do. I hear of wiring that needs to be spliced into, but i'm not sure where it is. It looks to me that the PCM has 2 harness/sets of wires going to it, are these the ones i tap into, and if so, which one? Or is there wiring that comes directly from the PCM that i tap into?

Thanks again

There's a beautiful how to on srtforums.....but that's for an SRT-4.

Do you have a wideband A/F?
Do you have access to a dyno?

If you don't have one of the above things......you might as well sell the SAFC2 b/c you can't tune it without one of those things.

Good stuff.....a dyno will definatley allow you to tune the s-afc2....however, PLEASE remember that once it is tuned, DO NOT adjust anything without a dyno or wideband b/c there is no way to monitor your A/F properly, and can lead to very devistating results.

Hey, this is great stuff...thanks guys. I was just realizing the other day that with the setup I will have after I get everything installed (mag intake, mag head, comp cam, long tube....and it's all just sitting in dads garage... argh...) I really need a way to get some more fuel flowing. An SAFC is what came to mind...but it scared me, cause i'm not used to thinking in terms of wiring and computer gadgetry when it comes to cars. (too much experience with old mopar small blocks  ) I'm learning though, and the more I learn the less foreign it all seems. So here's to learning new stuff about how to really make a 2gn fast. :occasion5:

I love 2gn.org! =D>
