I can see that, with a little tweaking of the front clip and the dash, that there might be a 1GN retro-look for that 500 in the North American market.

I'll say this:

There is a reason why the American auto companies are in the shitter. Might as well get someone in who can shape up the business end of it, as well as bring in some new style, regardless of who it is.

^^Well, I know why the old Chrysler was in this position and it can be summed up in one name: Daimler-Benz. They set out to sabotge the company and were very successful in that endeavor. I had hoped that Cerberus would be able to turn the company around and keep it largely American-owned. If Fiat can keep most of the company intact and the remaining employees working, I'll be cheering them on.

I've only driven the SXT and I didn't like it at all. It felt like I was driving a bus. Huge blind spots, no power, no steering feedback. Granted I'm sure the no power thing had a lot to do with the CVT (I'm growing to hate CVTs more and more after driving a few of them including my brother's new Altima).
