saw one in a parking lot not too long ago, definately weird at the least

I've driven rental SXT Calibers when my car has been in the shop and they left me cold. DCX should have marketed the Caliber as a station wagon and made a 3GN Neon at the same time to give the company more options in the small-car range.

GM kept the "Cadavilier" going for way too long so I guess that DCX could have kept a 2GN for a while longer but the smart thing would have been to develop a 3GN. As allpar.com has noted, Neon owners are "fiercely loyal" about their rides.

Update: Can't believe that I mispelled "their."

^ i used to see Fiat Linea looks similar to the 2gn neon. so i don't think there will be a neon under Fiat company. but it looks more like a corolla...

I can't believe that's a Fiat. Renault is more like it. Back on topic, Fiat is bringing over a few variants of the Punto and/or Panda, as well as the 500. I read that the Panda micro-SUV will for sure be a badge-engineered Jeep called the Phoenix. So Chrysler will again sell small cars...just small Italian cars.
Interestingly enough, the 300 will underpin a top-of-the-line Alfa sedan...possibly with a multi-air 3.0L twin-turbo V8.
