Ignition Coil Pack

I have a 2002, its just the base model (it doesnt even have a letter classification). My ignition coil pack has gone bad and to replace it would be really expensive. I can get my hands on a 1st gen ignition coil pack....so my question is: will a 1st gen coil pack work on a 2nd gen???

you can get a 2nd gen coilpack for relatively cheap...just check the for sale forums..i think i have one laying around somewhere.

Yeah, they are cheap. Even with the shipping, the modern package is relatively cheap. After I finish these brakes (hopefully this week), I'll look into the coil pack, along with the new plugs and wires.
