I dont know whats going on

Post by DJ CptnCrnch » Fri Sep 30, 2005 7:52 am

Ok so i got my car back from the dealership a couple of days ago, and its been running really good...i know they had to replace the PMC because the old was fried...just wondering, could it be possible that they gave me a better chip...possibly a R/T one??? it could also be that ive been driving around a van for the past 2 weeks too...let me know what you think....the new chip does look differnt from my old one. :?:

if you use 87 octane, i think the car would be running like shit since the magnum pcm is designed for 91+

If you find out they gave you an RT pcm let us no for sure becuase I have wondered for awhile if you could swap that in and have it work.. No one has tried it to my knowledge. I know it would make installing the intake mani a hell of alot easier.

that's because you CAN'T put an R/T PCM into a non-R/T Neon. get a blood transfusion with the wrong typr of blood, same thing happens in cars
