I just recently installed my mag intake manifold. I filed down the injector bumps and had the top end filled (aluminum weld). Anywho, when i first installed it and fired it up, i heard a faint sound of air sucking in on the 2nd injector (from the left when facing the motor). I killed it, took off the injector rail, and reinstalled. No more noise!
Today, i parked my car and popped the hood. The 3rd one over was making the noise now! im guessing ill have to pull it off and check it out... the only thing i can think of is that i didnt file down enough on some of these injector bumps that were filled... Ya think?
Anywho, is it OK to drive on it till i get home? At work for a while today .
ALSO: What about putting a bit of oil around the injector O rings... would that help them slide in better and seal better?

OK pulled off the injector rail on my break. ALL 4 O RINGS have a slice on them at the top! Like, missing completely! Could heat have caused this? Or maybe its because i tightened them too much? Anyways, i put a dab of oil on each injector O ring and in the injector inlets and reinstalled them. The whistling sound of the injector leaking is gone (for now) but i will keep an eye on it
