well argg its bothering me, it sounds like a bicycle from outside and from the inside it sounds liek a tractor.

btw this was driven on an empty road (pedal to the metal)

You might have an exhaust leak like my car. Check the manifold-to-downpipe/cat flange and see if the bolts are tight.

Mine is loose and slightly leaking, so it sounds like a diesel when I hit a big bump or floor it from a dead stop.

Engine sounds nice I cant hear anything

that ticking sound u are talking about is a normal neon sound, i have owned 4 neons and they have all had that sound. there is nothing to be worried about.

I didn't notice anything unusual. Some distortion in the sound when you punched it from a shitty microphone, but otherwise it sounds normal.

yeah, that clickidy-clickidy-clickidy sound is on my second gen and the two other first gens i have. Careful not to melt the camera.... that was WOT...

Injectors firing? Sounds normal to me...

I hear the following:

-hood slamming

-mild ticking at lower rpms

-distortion

The ticking at lower rpm's is a normal condition as it seems a lot of Neon's do this... including mine. Given a lot of people with Neon's have this ticking with seemingly no adverse effects I'm not going to fuss over it.

I think that ticking noise is the injectors but that engine sounds hella nice.

There is a solution... more like a good coverup

CAI and Exhuast... I'd suggest Borla. There will be enough good sounds coming from the car that it will drown out the annoying ones
