ok, where to begin.. i went to do a little work under the hood the other day, i went to remove the battery and i noticed that the ground from the battery to the car had come un done. (i did the upgraded ground from the HT section) I dont know how long that the connection has been severed..

now that that has been said on to the problem.

When i use my front defroster and the a/c the car seems to bog down and shake. But when i turn it off the car stops shaking.

am i paranoid or is there a problem somewhere? I just don't remember this happening before.

Nope that's normal. Get a udp to help free up some hp by slowing the accessories down. it will cause the car to bog down less when you use the ac. I did it to my car and i love it.

Yeah that's pretty normal. Mine does it even with a UDP. MM inserts definitely do not help the problem either. It's pretty normal to feel the loss in power when the a/c is on. I feel like, with the udp on, and a/c on 2 clicks, feels the same as stock, with the a/c off. If that makes sense.. hard to explain what i mean i guess.

My UDP didn't really help for the A/C either. Still has a big effect on power. The only benefit I got was the CEL.

I've got an underdrive pulley and motor mount inserts. I have barely any shaking even if i try to make it and put the a/c on and put it in reverse. Maybe it's because I measured and put the torque struts back where they were supposed to go.

Ok thankyou. I was worried since I put soils upper and lower mounts In and I didn't remember it doing the shaking shit earlier. Now I'm lookin at the mpx off of modern. Thanks again

I just realigned mine (117.06mm), and with or w/o the inserts, it still sucks. Not sure there is anything else I can do... Oh well.

Raise the idle, and pray NGC doesn't have a fit. :D

IDK how touchy the target parameters are for the IAC, if any different than 02-down. But the idle stop could be tweaked a little to get a little more out of it. An extra 100 rpm may smooth it out. At least this is something that can be easily returned to where it was. But then getting it by the IAC might be tricky, depending on how close to shut it normally operates for that given engine. If it runs a fair amount off the seat, then you may not have much luck raising the idle, with out throwing a TPS correlation code of some sort. All you can do is play and pray.

Yeah, I had to fix the alignment first since I didn't do it correctly before. I will mess with the idle Thursday probably at OB's house since that is probably going to be my next day of free time.
