So i have a 2003 SXT in silver

I was looking into putting LED's under the dash for like where your feet are. And possibly a strip inside the front grill(seeing how it looks before that becomes permanent). I was curious of what color LED's might look best inside. Red or Blue.

welcome to the boards.

I have underbody lighting. Personally, I don't like the red because it's not bright enough for me. I'd go with green, blue, purple, teal, or some color close to those that produces some light output.

...check your local laws too. In VA if your light is seen from the outside of the vehicle, you can be pulled over. A cop might not be too pleased if you have blue lights coming out of your car either...

I have exactly the same car as you except for the sunroof. Personally, I'm partial to blue, but as far as the lights behind the grille, I wouldn't be able to do red or blue in Massachusetts since red can not appear at the front of a vehicle and blue can not appear anywhere on the exterior at all. Check your state regulation before you do anything with the grille.

I have all blue lights in my interior other than my dome light and I like it. It's a bit more difficult to make the gauges red than blue, but more people have done blue, so it's a toss-up.

I was thinking blue myself. I had an 02 corolla which i did red all throughout the interior and kinda wanted to try something diff.

Hehehe i never thought about the laws and outside lights, might just drop that idea now... >.>

I'm also looking at removing the side molding, nightshading the tail lights. Otherwise i really like the stock look.

I kinda want a deeper/louder exhaust though...any ideas?

Kinda on the cheaper side, i would rather not spend an assload redoing my entire exhaust system.

I dropped about $2,000 one weekend, than 5 days later Image

Ya, this is my first neon, actually my dad had a 98 neon back in the day, it was a pos.

I got this one used..whomever owned it before..couldnt drive around at all, front and back bumper corners are scratched beyond belief as wel as cracked in multiple places. Also a really nice dent in the drivers side rear door.

Scratch remove got ride of a few...way to many more..

I looked into replacing the front bumper with an SRT-4 along with a matching hood but, well i'm a college student who works at best buy. Not to much spare change laying around.

I would be happy with a new exhaust, tinted windows, some leds, tail light tint.

Oh, and time to tear apart my brakes sand em down, lube em and paint them..the rust color isn't flattering. And neither is the squeaking ><
