wiring to battery

not really sure on how to wire something up to a batter, im wanting to hook my underglow up to a switch. a detailed how to would be awesome, been wantin to learn how to do this for a while

also not sure on what stuff to purchase, connectors and whatever else

Connector from positive terminal to correct size in-line fuse (you want this close to the battery), then to the + on the switch. Wire from switch to what you want to power with it. Ground the switch if needed (for the switches with a light). Flip the switch and enjoy.

I ran the wires inside the cabin under the center console to the control box.

Mine is grounded to a screw on the side of the dash in the fuse access. The other side is hooked up to a fuse for my parking lights. It's kind of ghetto, but it works.

I can tell you from experience that you should spend money elsewhere on your car. It will turn heads, but I feel like a child every time i turn them on.

its not suggested to run anything any were near that center consel cuz your air mag modual is right there and and wires give off electic megnetic energy with can do funky things including if theres enough amps going though a properly sized wire near there it could result in a false alarm in the moudual and set the air bags off
