swapped my snowflakes for a set of 17" adr gt sport wheels w/ 215/40/17 tech 4000 tires... was washing the car today and noticed no wheel weights on any of the wheels, inside or outside of the rim.. car rides fine, little noisier with the wider shorter tires.. but no problems

never owned aftermarket wheels before, and thought it odd since every other wheel tire on any car ive owned had the wheel weights..

Yes and no. You can get it close to perfect using match mounting. But your weights poss fell off.

I was trying to get my wheels balanced at this one shop. They had a special for balance and rotation for 20 bucks. So I go there and they are like they can't balance my wheels, they said they had to be balanced on the car or some shit. They said they couldn't do that and I would have to take it to a ricer shop called kc image. My bro said they new it would be xtra work and for 20 bucks they weren't going to do it to my wheels, even though they could have.

Most places will charge extra for anything but a standard steel wheel. Thats the way it goes. :P
