OB wrote:IMO the R/T skirts should be on the rare parts list. The whole Mopar lip kit is rare technically, as it has been discontinued for awhile now. Anything that can only be purchased used can be considered rare if you ask me.

OB's rare parts:

Cupholder light
R/T skirts
Mopar lip
ACR antenna delete plug
Iceman Intake
Injector cover

Mopar lip kits are still available at a few dealerships. I was headed over to order mine this week.

True, but they haven't actually manufactured them in years. Thus, the definition of 'discontinued'. :)

I never knew they made a non srt downpipe, or the stainless midsection. Do you have a part number on those and know if more are available? Or are they a secret. I would love to get my hands on one of each. That downpipe looks amazing.

Those parts are about as close to prototype as you can get. The were available from MP for a very brief time and then discontinued.

The closest thing you will see to them is the SRT parts which are not polished.

He is correct, Chrysler or MoparPerformance will not give me a part number since it was not supposed to be released to the public. After reading a little bit into Mancini Racing's link to Chrysler, it would explain why I was able to identify the polished SS parts they had last year at Carlisle and very few people could identify. It seems Mancini has an insider over at Chrysler and when it came to this downpipe, it was not to be released to the public due to emision regulations and this one of one(to my knowledge and research) is the only Non-SRT polished cat delete to be out there...

Complete header back Mopar Performance Non-SRT 2 1/2" polished SS exhaust system
I got harrassed at work big time for this one, they asked why you would put a polished system on a car that you can't see the exhaust system....

Why? Because you know it's there, that's why. Good enough reason for me. Dang, that thing is beautiful!

is that a special bumper or just an srt with the nostrils removed?

Posted: Mon Feb 22, 2010 9:45 pm
by blackandbluesrt4
looks like either an srt-d, or god i hope it's not the original srt-4 bumper that they used for the concept.

Srt-d is my vote.

And going back to Lilsparkplugs picture of the perferated hood on the first page, a buddy in my local car club actually has one on his SRT.

Both wrong.

It's the original prototype bumper.
