^^^
He is correct....
But what he does not know is I took the day off yesterday, visited Canada (without Canada knowing) and now that intake manifold is sitting in my garage right now waiting to go on Christine. I'm going to ditch the SC project and go N/A with my new manifold....

PS - ok maybe not..

That manifold might not be the best flowing thing in the world. Hence only being a prototype. But still rare as shit.

Being made from sheet metal, the interior walls are prolly larger and smoother than a cast intake. I'd bet it outflows magnum intake, provided the butterfly section is apples to apples. As for the runners, I would bet on the sheet metal ones. There is a reason big hp engines all have sheet metal IM's. It ain't because they look pretty. The I.D. is larger/more consistent compared to a similar sized cast tube and they are lighter. Once you figure in the time for porting a cast IM, the sheet metal ones are prolly cheaper to build.

im from nebraska i work for a dodge dealer(woodhouse.com) worked on the same dealers WC srt4 race team. I have had a neon since 99 and a 1st gen i put a 2.4 in. I try to find cool odd ball factory stuff for my cars that no one else has. I'm going to convert my 02 dodge into an 02 chrysler only cause its Atlantic Blue and thats not a go fast color i my opinion.

oh i also have an RB1 nav radio in my 03 srt

and 3R's srts were flame red with a white stripes down the side and purple with a yellow stripe on the side

and the pcm has no speed limiter or emissions and boost goes upto and past 30 in a hurry!

Definitely rare !!

You say it has no VIN ??
That may limit your options, to keeping it a 'track only' car, but it would still be Very Cool to own & take to the strip, nonetheless.....

Depending on how his state's Department of Motor Vehicles does things, They may assign it a VIN, but I really don't know how that works. They had said something about giving my car a different VIN when I had the rebuilt title inspection, but they just left it as is, so I have no idea of what's involved. Possibly if the bulk of parts used to make it road legal are from the donor car, then they use that VIN for titling purposes.

I'm sure it could be titled under a self assembled vehicle title. The thing is, it will be listed as whatever model year it is applied for. Our 1979 F150 is titled as a 1987 F150 self assembled. Just be leery of savvy insurance agents wanting to charge you rates for a new vehicle. Ours tried that, and I asked him if they were going to pay out for a brand new F 150, and suddenly the rates dropped. Imagine that.

Just get Custom and Classic insurance and you wont have to worry about any of that BS and it's 100x cheaper with 100x MORE coverage.

i went through a company called American Auto Barn they had a set of export tail lamps on ebay. I emailed them about the lamps and asked if they could find a cluster also and a few days later he emailed me back saying he found one. The cluster and lamps together cost me $230 and should be here on thursday. dont know if the price is high or not but it was what i wanted and they were able to get it so i bought it
