LilSparkPlug wrote:Yes...it does. Have you ever used one? If not I suggest you try it out. You'd put the tape measure away forever. It's 99% failproof/idiot proof. There's no guesswork involved.
Used a laser alignment rack? No silly, I do it myself in the garage with a tape measure remember

However I am familiar with and have used laser measuring equipment, and the error in measure associated with various types. Just because you get a nice number from the laser measuring device does not make it fail proof. There's error in every type of measure.

It will need cut out, and welded back in. If you don't have at minimum a MIG welder, and decent skills, I would pay a shop/skilled friend to do it. If you remove the fascia, and reinstall the headlights to keep it road legal to get it there, they shouldn't charge too ridiculous of a price.

4783466AG Upper tie bar $84.20

IIRC Certifit has them cheaper, but you have to pick up from the location. Prolly $50 less, but if there isn't a local one, it isn't really worth the difference. Shipping would be eating up the spare change.

Here is my car after tear down about 8 years ago. I had a *little* run in with a tree.

Yes, this totaled the car. Yes, my car has a salvage title. Yes, all repairs were done by a body shop, and the insurance pay out paid for it, and a few modifications. (car was paid for, and less than a year old, so the pay out was pretty decent). This is the same car I post, with all the export crap on it. lol.
