Limp Mode!!

Post by dhmp77 » Fri Feb 26, 2010 2:38 pm

I have and 00 neon with an 04 srt swap. Recently i have been driving around and all of a sudden my car will go into limp mode. I checked the codes and i came up with "u 1102". After doing some research I have heard it was a communication problem and may be a simple ground problem. So i relocated my ground and for a couple of days it was running great. now I'm back in limp mode and throwing codes "p 300" and "u 1102"

PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks. :banghead: :banghead:

Did some quick research and the U1102 look to be a communication problem like you said but could be between the PCM and instrument cluster.

Did you always have this problem since the swap or did it pop up suddenly?

when u did your SRT swap, did you swap over all the wiring to the SRT or did you use half the srt and half your current wiring?
When doing the SRT swap you need to change the body harness over unless your going megasquirt...
