ECU options for my '00

Post by Forest Green 2k » Fri Jul 23, 2010 9:36 am

Are there any OEM ECU options for my 2000 to make it perform better? Like a 1st gen '95 or a DOHC one by any chance.

your car is OBD-II and the 95 ecu is OBD-I. best bet is to look into some sort of "piggy back" fuel and air controler. or even getting a mopar ECU.

AFX or AFX-R are about it, besides MS.

Because of the IAC motor you have to stick with a 00 pcm unless you rewire for the 01-02 IAC motor.

If you can find one, go for it.

Just as BRR said, you will have no idle control with a '01/'02 unit.

dyno tests have shown that an AFX and MS in N/A form prove to be about the same power output, so go AFX as all you have to do is drive the car and it relearns everything needed....

Hey, I met a fellow Neon buddy of yours. The one with an NYG coupe and Conquest/Starion. He was over-looking my friend Mike building up his new race prepped Conquest/Starion motor. I'm terrible with names, sorry.
