Opinons on a swap

Heres the deal, some kid offered me more than i payed for my 04 srt swapped r/t yesterday so i sent it out the door. i loved the car. kept it clean. didn't cut corners on it. and those that have seen it know that. I loved the car A LOT and want to get back in another SRT. so i found this other swap locally. i realize i looks pretty hacked. But the way i look at it, if the motor/tranny/clutch is sound, the rest seems to be all cosmetic. Carpet, seats, center console, rear deck lid, steering wheel and missing vents can all be picked up at a JY cheap, and i would think i would get rid of the front bumper and skirts and hood. and obviously the stickers. just wondering what all you fellow 2gner's thing of it and what you think its worth. how hard do you think it will be to find a yellow hood bumper and r/t skirts? or what would it run me to paint those. I've never dived into paint work before. all in all just looking for options

Shit for $6500 you can have mine lol
I think its too much for that car in the state its in. I know I would never get that for mine and I have less miles on engine/trans and my car alot nicer condition

what's with the swap obsession?

why not just go for a real SRT?...they seem to be getting into about the same price range nowadays...

Thats funny, cause my insurance is the same if i had either.

I dunno about this car. I wonder if you could do another swap again (with improvements) from what you've gained from the other sale. I would almost consider that, cause I would be skeptical of someone else's hack job.

the only reason i'm considering a swap over a real on is i'm thinking i can pick this up for around 4500, big turbo. find me a big turbo srt in this shape, don't think so. after i de rice it, new interior and new front end/skirts. i think i can do it for just under 6 if i get it for 4500

I think you should buy the comm. edition in milwaukee and swap it! thats my vote. i would not come near that yellow car tho! def a hack job and you will hate yourself for trying to mess with it imo.

i went and looked at the car and just about everything you need is there...2300 is a really good price. i payed 2800 for mine and it was only a little better. although you bought your swapped car tho right how much did you pay for it? but anyways i would go for it but i dont have the money or time right now, the hardest part would be finding a good car to swap the srt into!
