here she is, looks like mint condition, though it has a salvage title. i'd use it to swap the engine and tranny, sideskirts, spindles, seats, rear bumper and water bottle, everything else would be up for sale to you guys and the car will end up a track only sleeper with the parts from the SX.

it was at 8100 when i bid on it, now some dude has it at 8600...i'm thinking 9000 would be the highest i should go. what do you think? depending on how much stuff i keep, i can sell off up to $2000 worth of crap i'd say, and i'd have a phat engine for my daily driver.

that means you would be paying 7000 for engine and tranny, sideskirts, spindles, seats, rear bumper and water bottle.
too much imo.

well it's salvage so it'll have to be a track car...once i take all the poweradders and extra weight out, i can use my current engine and suspension setup and make the car a autocross only whore

oh, and you can add fenders and upgraded stereo to the list :P

I think you're taking the hard and way more expensive way out.

btw, you can get plates for a car with a salvage title so you can drive it anywhere you want.

If it's anything like the USA you can register the car as long as it's street worthy.

And yes I did but originally that wasn't the plan  It was originally going to go into the black car and then plans changed. And I didn't tear down a perfectly good running SRT-4 that moved under it's own power

But since you aren't going to get it... oh well... you'll find something. I almost bought 1-2 other ones before I bought the one I used.

i've talked to more local guys about this and yeah, looks like i should be able to register it... since that's the case, i'm thinking of trying to get it inspected in the states, so maybe i can bring it in with a clean title...i'd sell my sx if that was the case for sure, no need to rip the car appart, especially with the nice sunroof and all. i originally assumed i'd have to use the car as track only, but since tehre is no structural damage maybe this'll work...HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, still on the bar with this.... it'd be a killer deal if i can pretty much register it and go!

id want to know why it has a salvage title. would it being in a minor accident cause that?

Depends on what the insurance company thought of the damage. Typically if the cost to repair it is about 75% of what the value of the car is before the accident then they'll just consider it totaled... if it's totaled they the title will be replaced with a salvage title.

bah, outbid in the last 10 seconds of the auction after watching that all evening... oh well, at least that guy will be paying through his ass for it, but it seems like it would have been such a good deal.

i learned to not even bother bidding on stuff... it just raises the price higher...if you really want something, log into the item you want a couple minutes before the auction ends, outbid the current price and leave yourself a fat limit so you dont get outbid and there...
