I opened up the manifold opening from the throttle body on mine before I bought a Mag intake, I didn't take it too far because I was worried about it breaking.

You can mod it by Ghetto-blaster methods, but actualy porting it out would reduce your gains more than anything as the surface is already VERY smooth.

ha okay... just wondering me and a buddy are making custom intake manifolds so ill have one its just i figured while where still on 1gns and srt's and i have to wait why not "clean" up the stock intake...lol i actullay thought it was nodestiny.... 
yeah...14's with middle layer on my MLS gasket gone and head milled .030 and p+p head....
