is there a diff between 03 up fenders and the earlier 2nd gen. i need a new front right fender since some ahole apparantly did a hit and run sometime during the night in my parking garage a few weeks back. i know a lot advertise being for 00-05 but i just want to make sure before i buy. i know headlights changed but i didnt think it affected how they lined up with fender.

thanks for the answers. thats what i thought. wanted to double check. not that it matters to much anyway because im gonna get some fiberglass z3 or similar fenders so it will take hella work to get them to fit prolly. good thing my buddy works at a body shop.

I hope you have other things done to the exterior... if not it'll look funny having a stock looking neon with Z3 fenders.

right now im stock. should have body done sometime soon most likely. just didnt want to spend money on a stock replacement and then have to spend money on aftermarket ones. and its not like there are to many body lines it has to flow with. not like me putting on a front cover and leaving the rest stock. i could just get me some green primerd fenders, a black primered front cover, a roof scoop, a new rear painted bright yellow, and some cheap skirts. then id be pimping.

sorry im tired so i thought id ramble.

you do realize...that if you go aftermarket w/ the fenders, yes it will be a pain to fit, you already stated that. but more than likely a body line of some sort will have to be cut into them, or the body line on the doors will have to be tapered out. either way, its going to look odd if you just put them on as is, and dont even worry w/ a body line....trust me...I have aerogear z3s on my car. Fiberglass, but I reccomend them if you insist on z3s on your neon, but not all neons can pull them off. I had to have a bodyline custom cut into mine, and it was a time consuming process...building up, sanding, cutting, etc....took a while, at least an extra week just for the bodyline alone to be cut in.

Just warning you of what lies ahead...nothign aftermarket is ever perfect :(
