Is rear fender a part of a car body? Mine is damaged between rear door and wheel. So I can not just replace the whole fender like in front, right?

Correct, the rear quarter is part of the body shell. It would have to be cut off and a replacement welded on. That is called the "dog leg" here, because of it's shape, and old school references.

Finding a decent one in the JY, and cutting/welding it to your car, or having something fabbed up and welded on is about the only way to fix it if it is beyond what hammering and filler can do.

Thank you. So I'll try to straighten it and re-paint.

I wonder why that design decision was made. Almost every Neon I've seen 'round these parts has them rear panels rusted.

Shame, as swappin' 'em out would be easy if they'd've just been seperate from the body.

it's not a neon thing, it's a car thing. Good luck finding a car where the rear quarters aren't part of the body structure. i can't think of any.

This is why they rust.
