I am trying to figure out what I want to do for a muffler on my car. I will be going with a FF LT|flex|cutout|2.5" piping.
Now I like the magnaflow race serices muffler like the one Louies got. But I dont want to leave one cutout empty

.........cutting the bumper is getting close. can we roll ours like the srt guys? Dual cannons anyone?
I was thinking about either a magnaflow race or a fart can but do not know much about the cannons. a.k.a. what brands are nice and all. I really don't want to spend more then $100 on one though. Pictures would be nice too.Help me out guys.

This may sound like a dumb idea, but why not just get a used rear bumper from another car and swap it. Keep your other bumper or sell it.
And I liked my OBX fart cannon. I think I paid $106 shipped for it 4 or 5 years ago. If you wanna spend more, there is always APEXi universal mufflers that look great on our cars and are quality. But, you will pay out the nose for one. Definitally over $100 unless it is used. But, it is pretty hard to screw up a muffler (when you are reverse engineering a good one) so pretty much anything you find on eBay for cheap will be fine.

true its not hard to screw up a muffler, but the materials used are what make it cheap/crappy.. like glass packing instead of stainless steel packing. but you get what you pay for, i got a $40 shipped ebay N1 style muffler, if i dont like it im not out a whole lot. but i did like the OBX N1's cept i didnt want it to have anything written on the tip, or have a badge tacwelded to the body either, so i just opted for a cheapo no name

im have my fastfabs longtube to a high flow 2.5" cat to a 2.5" moroso spiral flow to a 2.25" SS resonator (the one from modern) to the srt rear section (im converting to the srt rear bumper and 03+ tail lights)

Ok I am either getting the cannon style muffler or keeping my rear setup and adding a glasspack.
If I get a cannon style should I go with a flat tip or a slanted one? I would think slanted.
I should soon have up for sale a full srt catback exhaust and most likely a rt mid pipe with cat and a 28" glasspack welded in place.(just a hint)

my exhaust sounds really good. even with the longtube its almost as quiet as only having an intake at idle
before i was running the longtube to the stock r/t muffler ONLY and it was unbearable. long trips were a chore and it was impossible to listen to the radio or even carry on a simple conversation... now its very nice, low and mellow

So if I just run my long tube straight back to a cannon style muffler it is gonna be way too loud?
If so I will go ahead and add a glasspack or that spiral flow muffler in there too.

knox.. remember no cat = loud as fuck, just adding a muffler might not do the trick, which is why i got a glasspack to add to the install.
tama still has a cat, so hes gonna be quieter then us.

Yeah i am gonna through on the glasspack and jsut a cheap fart can muffler. If I like it then I might spend some money for a nicer muffler.

i got a magnaflow 2.50' axle back with a srt-4 mid pipe. Its really quite with the resonators. I'll be getting my TTI long tube on tuesday..yall think its gonna be too loud? i doubt it. My exhaust sounds really nice and quite. Its quite to a point when i gear down to try people they dont hear me ova there exhaust. cuz u know most of them hondas have wizzy annoying loud exhaust. I dot my exhaust from trubendz and i have to fix the hangers cuz it didnt fit good. And i had to weld a flange to my mid pipe to bolt the muffler on

Ok I am trying to decide if that moroso spiral flow will be better then a glasspack. The glasspack is only $21, but the spiral flow is $46. Which one is going to lower the sound more?

So, Anyone know if the spiral flow will help more then a glasspack?
