alarm problems

alarm problems

ok, so ever since i put my hood pins in, my alarm goes off randomly, bc i pulled the hood latch. how can i bypass the hood sensor? or can i disable the alarm part and just use the keyless portion of the system? detialed how tos would be great, please help, this is getting OLD FAST!

if there is a wire, maybe you can cut the wire at the hood latch and connect a hood pin?

You'd have to find the switch at where the hood latch was at I would think its a mirco switch. More then likely its a NO concat which means you'd have to tie the Com and the normally open wires together. This would bypass the your trouble area.
