ok all i have is a cai iv noticed that first gear is sluggish till 2nd then it flys whats the matter?

I take it its an mtx? Remember its a Neon. CAI don't add that much power.

my cars not sluggish at all IMO, and i doubt its the CAI. how many miles are on your car? does it get maintained well? a tune up could fix the issue a bit if its been awhile (plugs, oil, etc). you'd have to be more specific to diagnose a problem other than saying its 'sluggish'.
