Here in socal we don't even have 93 octane.. the highest we have is 91... unless you go to one station where they have 100 octane I believe??? which is $7.00 a gallon
Regular 87 Unleaded is $2.85 at a CHEAP station i.e. Arco....
Basically with oil @ $68 a barrel + CA's ridiculous gas taxes, It ain't looking good....

OK filled up today... last take average mpg (same driving conditions as usual) was 23 mpg....
For this take, I am running some octane booster to see if that will help (from what I hear, our cali gas sucks...)
Let the 87 w/ octane booster test begin!

I used one bottle of Prestone 0-60 octane boost to a tank of 87, drove it normally if not like a granny and got great mpg...
