MTX Shift cable questions?

Post by soul_sword34 » Fri Apr 07, 2006 8:07 pm

About how much does a shift cable and crossover cost new from Dodge? Also since my MTX is cable (2000) won't hydro MTX's shift cables work? I figured they would because the only thing hydro on '01 + is the clutch. Thanks. :D

4668268 - $136.00 Yes that is the price b/c I had to pay it once when I snapped one trying to remove the cable from the shifter held on with boogers. If you snapped the end I believe "Kyle" on the .org is selling fixit kits for $20 or so. He uses a Heim Joint for the end of the shifter instead of the plastic end. You just have to purchase a dye to thread the end of the broken part of the cable. This is only if you snapped one at the end by the shifter assembly.

Also.. the part number is the same in 00 as it is in 02

I have Kyle's rod-end kit on my car. Wouldnt go back to bushings, not even boogers.
