SRT-4 Front & Rear Bumper Assemblies

Post by leeann0820 » Mon Apr 17, 2006 11:54 pm

I'm planning on buying the SRT-4 front and rear bumpers for my 01 Dodge Neon and I know that I will have to replace my front and rear lights but I need to know what brackets and things I will also need to buy along with the bumpers

to my knowledge the fascias are a straight up swap, but i dont know about the lights for sure. id expect they would just need any attaching wiring that came with em and they should hook right up.

the headlights on the 00-02 are a different style than the 03-05, so the headlights do need to be changed.

need to change the washer bottle as well

fog light wiring is different also if you plan on running srt fog lamps, the plugs are different so you'd need to splice on some srt connectors to use the srt fogs if you plan on using them.

I believe the air dam is also a little different in shape

the head and taillights are direct swap also... there is NO need to change connectors.

if you dont currently have foglights to swap connectors on for the srt fogs, making ur own is very simple. Youll need a relay, about 30ft of wire (id suggest 18or16awg) some electrical tape, and some blue spade connectors. Also, buy DEPO foglights if ur not getting the ones with the bumper. They come with the brackets for the bumper and everything so they also just bolt right onto the bumper VERY EASY.
