SRT-4 Rear Bumper Dimensions

Post by MoxHair » Tue Apr 25, 2006 7:45 pm

My friend from work and I are currently working on a Project for the rear of the Neons. (I'll post pictures next week.. Hopefully all goes well and we can sell this item and people will want it.)

Well to make things short.. I've searched and searched and I can't find the dimensions of the SRT-4 rear Bumper. I need these numbers to make a Bracket to make the part universal (well at least for the 03-06 Neons). And since the SRT-4 we were going to use as a test mule is in Ohio until the middle/end of May...

So If anybody can measure how tall, wide, and the distance between the pipes and either post them on this thread or PM me I would be very thankful..

Hopefully All goes well and It works the way it should and doesnt look bad.. Don't mean to be all secretive.. but I dont want to make anybody excitied and the prototype to suck.

Look forward to some pictures next week and maybe a new fuctional part sometime in the next few months. The Prototype will be on my car.

yes.. The last neons to roll off the line have an 06 designation.. I think because of how late in the year they rolled off the line and something to do with the EPA/DOT board. I may be wrong.. I saw this on some Neon Site..

So If I'm wrong I'm wrong..

**EDIT after a quick search.. Some sites refer to them as 2006 Dodge Neons.. Some say it's a 2006 model year but designated as a 2005, and Dodge and KBB just recognise it as a 2005.

i thought raul (03atx) posted some specs a while ago. i guess he took it off. i was going to get the dimensions from his bumper anyways.

well anyways, this is from his bumper. the dimensions are as clear as day. :)

its measured from each edge of the bumper holes and from where the pipes would be dead center.
