wiring the lighted sun visors

anyone have any ideas of where to tap it into? it only has 1 wire...

i snipped out the wiring harness for them and the visors saturday froma picknpull from a 1gen and YES!!! They WILL Fit. The visors are the exact same! best part is, 2 of the hard parts to paint are already black!!! the Hold Bar and the right angle pivot piece. the rest is tan tho and the cloth is a little dirty, but thats going to get removed and redone

anyway... back to topic... anybody have any ideas how i should wire these?

try the wires for your mirror lights! runs down the driver side a pillar

Then it'd only come on when his dome light was on.

You need to wire them to a switched 12v source like a sunroof where it only works when the ignition is on and isn't controlled by a switch on the dash like the dome light.

only one wire... because its grounded when you screw it into place.

well it wont really matter

looks like they DONT fit afterall...

they are close but the mounting piece is a slight bit different... and they are about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch longer... im going to try a few things with them still... i want me some damn lighted 2gn visors

I could probably screw one to the top of my computer monitor. Fucking sun is right in my eyes around supper time when I'm talking to all you 2gn crazies.
