acr fan ?

Im taking my ac out due to the pos compressor decided to swtart smoking on me. Rght now i have 2 fans. So my ? is did the acr's just come with one big fan or two small ones and if so can i have the part # please.

It could have either or according to DCx Starparts...

Dual fan shroud - 5014579AA(MTX) - $93.25msrp
^^^ with module numbers 5278049-5278025
Dual fan shroud - 5019210AA(ATXorMTX)) - $144msrp
Single Fan shroud - 5086237AA - $71.70msrp
Dual fan motors - 5019212AA - $180msrp each

Single fan motors - 5014577AA - $200msrp

Hope that helps you, needless to say ACR or not it could have dual or single fans on the car. Probably depends on other options too. My R/T has the single fan...

well nither one of my fans is working! so my first try is a new thermostat. by unhooking my ac compressor it also keeps the 2nd fan (pass side) from working correct? this is the reason i was looking for the single fan!forgive the spelling and the dumb? i have been up since 9am yesterday

The second fan should kick on when you turn the A/C on...yes
As for swapping to a single fan setup, it should be plug and play...

My ACR has a single fan and A/C. The dual fan setup was probably to remedy the problem of the engine bogging when teh A/C comes on. It takes like 100HP to run that fan I guess cuz my car suffers when teh A/C is on....
