Plug gap is .035

Torque is

http://www.championsparkplugs.com/charg ... e+settings

There is another way to put the plugs in with the correct amount of torque without a torque wrench by after the seal seats to turn it either 1/4 or 3/4 turn but I don't remember the correct amount of turn after it the seal seats to tell you. Amount of turning also depends on if you're installing new or used plugs since the washer on a used plug has already been compressed from previous tightening. Someone on here might remember and know what I'm talking about.

Stock gap is between .033 - .038
oh and yeah you should know when the plug's in all the way, it should be pretty obvious, but if not torque them.

specifically torque for the spark plugs in the 2.0 or 2.4 is 13ft-lbs +/- 2 ft-lbs. i got this from my fsm and it specifically says no tighter than that.

After mine were loosened, I used a magnet to pull 'em out.

mine are in there pretty good too haha

some people said its a good idea to TWIST a bit, then pull. sure enough, i checked the service manual and it says to twist a quarter turn then pull. takes some muscle dont worry.

it should take you no more than 2 mins. Swap. Don't forget to use boot lube. It will help with getting them off the next time.

10k miles is a little anal....
I average about 15-20k a year, and the only thing I monitor is plug gap...
The larger the gap is the more wear other things will get....
