2.4 swap or 2.0 rebuild?

What's the best 2.4(pt cruiser w/o turbo) swap or rebuild the 2.0, I'm asking, because I heard that pcm will limit you!

I'm talking about the se models

Is that true or not?

If you rebuild the 2.0 you can probly use a af/x ecu. If you go the 2.4 route you'll need a piggy back or stand alone ecu. What are you looking for too with the rebuild? to make a high horepower 2.0 that would cost alot of money. swaping to the 2.4 even if you kept it stock would give you some nice torque and if you ever wanted to go the turbo route all you have to do if put srt-4 or Pt turbo internal.

what are your plans? becuase neons with stock 2.4's are slower...stock they already have a major traction problem..and its no fun spinning all the way down the track

yea if you get a 2.4 id also look into a lsd and some good tires.

lmao... i was choosing between these 2 a couple months ago.. then i, uh, kinda messed my car up and now i dont have any $ lol. id go 2.4, more aftermarket and i agree with the turbo comment^^
