Finally 13s on my SOHC... YYEESSS !! Edited: See the Video

Last night 4/24/09 broke my previous record 14.21s last week 4/16/09.
Like 8 runs in total. Few 14.1s but most significant runs:

2.10s - 60'
9.08s @ 77.21mph - 1/8 mile
14.14s @ 96.72mph - 1/4 mile

2.19s - 60'
9.12s @ 77.55mph - 1/8 mile
14.16s @ 97.19mph - 1/4 mile

2.04s - 60'
8.93s @ 77.31mph - 1/8 mile
13.99s @ 95.16mph - 1/4 mile

Last week car was constantly on 14.5s @ 94mph. Suddently in a run heard a noise on 60' but due to no codes, car continued running, missed 2nd gear = 15.0s @ 94mph. I checked everything but ok. Noticed car sound was different. Found broken cat back right behind the rear driver wheel. A soldering blew up so it was totally opened. I mean, Im running w/ 2.5" quicktime cutout located right after the 2nd curve coming from header to muffler, but like that, no restrictions.

So I visited the muffler shop yesterday afternoon. Im also running an AFX Header w/ 3" collector, then a 3" flexible followed by a 2.5" resonator (dont remember why it still there due to I have a stock dohc muffler). So I decided to remove the resonator and made a 3" catback from flexible to cut out keeping it on same location. Also thanks to a friend, I ran last night w/ BF drag radials r14. With the 3" cat back will help me on mph but BF tires on 60'. So my ideas were applied but worked.

Now, for next month will get a set of slickS 22x8x15. Also will upgrade my 2.5" quicktime to a 3" one. Car likes to run with no restrictions at all. Lets see how about some 1.8s on 60' !!!
