someone needs to start a sticky so we can track this and adjust when people do better. like maybe a top 10 or top 20 2gners. only valid with time slip.

Hopefully ill have the launch control setup by then... its a little hard being 2500 miles away from my baby Thanks for the tips man, ill look into buying some better tiresinvujerry wrote:The first 60' makes the pass. Work on that part. If you have about 200 WHP it's possible. I forsee high 13's for you though. Street tires just don't have the traction needed, unless they're like Falken Azenis tires.n20sxt wrote:I forgot how funny Keith wasPhillyLS1 wrote:neons. How fast are they on here. If you took your seat out for a run, fine. But it's not like you roll on Kirkeys.
This thread is fail. If I made a "how to paint your interior" I'd have a 1,000 responses lol
Plan to run my car when i get back from school.. hoping for low to mid 13's on street tires... probably not gonna happen tho

I know you wire something to ground that's switchable, and then mess with the tables. When it's set up right, it'll spit fire out of your exhaust (if you don't have a cat) and it'll spool the turbo. Problem is, on street tires you don't want to launch in boost or else you'll just spin.n20sxt wrote:I need slicks nowinvujerry wrote:Launch control will only help you spin :-/.
I know MS has a traction control feature but i have no idea how to set it up or how effective it works.... maybe erik or some other MS users will chime in ??

You're gonna need atleast of 12.5:1 compression, at the very minimum a crane 005 or crane 007 (the new crane 16 and 18), a badass ported head, and the very best intake manifold, preferrably ITB's, and of course, a MS so you can rev to 8K.
I'm thinking I'll see 180whp out of my sohc with the mopar ecu, unknown ported head, and rternie intake manifold.

Street tires or slicks? What rpm were you shifting at?

Sweet, the both of you.
Menigoz, you should look into slicks. With a 60' and a time like that a 2.0 60' would get you close to a 14.6. If you could get a 1.9, you'd be even lower. Also, slicks are easier on axles than drag radials or street tires. Also, it's not like axles are that hard to change at the track anyways.
Comebackid, sounds like an awesome plan, you should def be up towards 200.

I am no longer N/A. I have a motor built by Len Araya and a BW s256 that i plan on running 30-35 lbs on with E-85. Hoping to be close to 500whp.Menigoz, you should look into slicks. Gunna need a larger turbo for that... Wasson only made 503 on 37psi on his 366 borg warner.. Those Sohc heads dont flow that great so you have too run alot more psi to make the same amount of hp a dohc head would on a lower psimenigoz_rt wrote:I am no longer N/A. At -10 degrees of timing advance because it was bouncing off the overboost limiter. Keep in mind it was also on a mustang dyno. And it wouldn't read to the top of the rpm because it oversped the dyno. All the 503 was good for is the damn factor. Now that the wastegate issues are sorted out, I'm confident that if I had a half hour to tune it, a dynojet would read more than 650.
